All-School Masses are offered each First Friday and the Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated once a month. Students are welcome to attend early morning Masses with the Sisters each day.
We provide the most holy sacrifice of the Mass every first Friday of the month, on all major liturgical feasts, and on school celebrations throughout the year. The students are welcome to participate in lectoring, leading the prayer of the faithful, and in bearing gifts during the Offertory. Students participate at Mass on Sundays at St. Mary’s Parish Church or at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick in Norwich where they may also assist with the Faith Formation program. Benediction is also available on Sundays for those who wish to attend.
We give our students frequent opportunities to receive the sacrament of reconciliation. Students are invited to the chapel for quiet prayer in the chapel at anytime.
The Academy of the Holy Family has been a blessing to me because being surrounded by girls who are devoted and strong in their faith encourages me to be just as enthusiastic. The Sisters and staff at the Academy have also helped me begin and nurture a closer and more faithful relationship with God.
