Service Project Requirements

Dear Students,

As part of our Religion curriculum here at the Academy of the Holy Family, we make opportunities available for our students to give of themselves in service to others. Service hours vary according to grade level and are part of her class requirements:

Service opportunities instill in our students an awareness of the needs of others and the joyful realization that it truly is “better to give than receive.” In light of the teachings of Jesus and the charism of the Sisters of Charity (“Serving and Simplicity”) our students serve one another and our community in many ways including our weekly food pantry, tutoring (peers and younger students), school events and community ministries.
